DATEx2 30A nominal 60Amax 24V-84V

Want to increase the distance traveled on your electric bike? This plug and play kit provides all the components needed to add a second battery without the need for soldering or cutting any wires.

The plug and play kit includes a 30A dual input dual output battery balancer to balance and uniformly discharge, to 1 or 2 outputs, voltage of both batteries without the requirements of voltage matching for hard-wired parallel connections. The kit also includes two 400MM (15.75in) XT60 (M-F) (14AWG) extension cables with braided wraps, two bullet to XT60 adapters (M, F) and two T-plug to XT60 Adapters (M, F).

14AWG wiring is complimentary. 14AWG wiring and components rating = 20A continuous, 30A max

BE SURE TO APPLY CORRECT GAUGE (AWG) to your device.

ElectricAllWheel is NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HIGH CURRENT FAILURES (we will only recommend our product for tested applications)

  1. Proprietary compact design with dual input/dual output (30A continuous - 60A MAX) (note - 60A exceeds 14AWG wiring tolerance threshold) Please utilize appropriately gauged cables for your application)
  2. Higher quality MOSFETS (electrical transistors)
  3. Circuitry design efficiency that drastically reduces voltage sag (compared to similar products)
  4. Less internal resistance and greater reliability with components MADE in the US

Does NOT work with VESC based controller. Square wave yes, sine wave no.

On 48 volt battery using Flipsky 75100 pro V2 controller, this does not work. It introduces an over voltage fault code of 90.29 volts and protective measures shut down the controller even under no load at full throttle. As soon as I remove this discharge balancer, two of which I have from the circuit everything is fine. If I use the discharge balancers in a square wave controller, everything is fine as well. I can only assume that it is introducing some kind of crazy ripple voltage or line noise. Regen is definitely off so that is not an issue. I have written Matt at electricallwheel but he has not responded. Usually he responds within minutes. I can only assume he either knows this or doesn't want to acknowledge it. Nevertheless, this is a fact. I'm not asking for my money back right or anything. I'm just trying to save someone else some headache if they switch to a VESC controller. This is reproducible on demand only when the discharge balancer is installed between the controller and the battery. My does old fashioned square Wave controller does not seem to have an issue with this. But it does bring up some concerns. I don't think I'll be using these any longer. Sorry.

As we have mentioned multiple time throughout the channel, we do not endorse or condone installations we have not performed ourselves. We will certainly review circumstances and provide answers to questions customers may have prior to their purchase. You provided neither.

Coincidentally, your notice to ElectricAllWheel was in a REPLY to an email where we were answering your questions about XT90 cables. Please see the full text of your reply to our ANSWER in the email thread that we RESPONDED TO.

'Okay, thank you!. If you get xt90s in stock or build them, I'll be there.

Incidentally, I have a couple of your 30 amp datex 2 discharge balancers. they work great with my square wave controller but when I use them with a Flipsky 75100 pro V2, FOC controller The controller just does not like them. Full throttle, I think the balancers causes maybe some kind of ripple voltage and controller throws up warnings and shuts the motor down allowing me to start throttle again . But anything past 3/4 throttle is a no-go. I've tried everything. And I mean everything. As soon as I remove them everything is smooth as silk. I think the voltage just isn't smooth enough. doesn't like it.. but it works great with the stock controller for the other bike. I'm no super tech...Just a heads up.

Thanks. Have a good day.'

We are grateful to our customers who express an honest account of service and interactions. We generally fulfill every request we possibly can. For that, we have been fotunate enough to continue the growth of our business.

Can I charge both batteries with this connector blender? No

For the $100 model can I charge both batteries or one charger?

This thing's Amazing!

For years we've ridden bikes without batteries, and never gave a thought about not having enough battery to get home. Now with ebikes, it's a major thought. With the DX2, I was able to add a 20 amp hour battery to the original 13. I plan on adding a 2nd 20 ah battery to plug in when the first two are done.
But as good as the DX2 is, it's the help I got from ElectricAllWheel that made this amazing. Matt was always there with a quick answer, and made this all remarkably easy. The videos are also a great help. I recommend this highly. The extra battery is great for piece of mind on a longer ride.
