This setup was so nice after install and first use that I bought a second kit of a family member’s bike.

Several of us in the family picked e-bikes, most of them Lectric XP 3’s with the exception of one Ride1Up Portola. The XP’s have twist throttle and the Portola is thumb throttle. We’re a family of motorcycle riders and we figured the twist throttle was for us. After trying the Portola, a couple of us decided that the thumb throttle is the way to go instead.

My background and education is in electrical and electronics and was planning to build a thumb throttle setup of my own. Then I found this kit and can easily say this is the way to go. Everything is as plug and play easy as ElectricAllWheel shows. The throttle has enough cable length to allow for either left or right side install while still allowing for use of the factory cable routing and looming. A bonus is the grips provided in the kit are lock-on and that is an improvement over the factory Lectric grips that like to spin around on the bars.

You just can’t beat the price and quality of this kit and shipping to me was fast, arriving in just a couple days.

Seems to work fine so far. Only had my bike out a couple of times.

Great fit on Lectric 3.0 Long Range. Much better than the twist throttle, in my opinion.
