I received this order yesterday, thanks for the prompt shipping but there is a problem with the throttle after I installed it I tested it before trying to go for a ride and the spring that returns it does not seem to be strong enough to return the throttle to the off position. I’m thinking the spring is bad or the plastic body is binding somehow. Please let me know what you think.

Is it visibly damaged?
Please check that it is not overly tightened or restricted by the grips.

It does not appear to be damaged, I don’t believe that I overtightened it and it does have clearance between the grip and the brake lever.

Sorry for the delay in my response, I would like to request a prepaid shipping label to return the defective thumb throttle if you indeed require the part be returned prior to replacement.
My feeling is that this part is defective through no fault of mine and I feel that it should be replaced at no cost to me, I went to my local post office and was quoted $9.01 to ship it to Tampa, in my opinion the shipping cost is probably more than your cost for the defective part. I waited for the part to be back in stock after checking out your web site and watching several of your videos I truly hope that I wasn’t wrong in purchasing from a small business. Please let me know if we can resolve this.

If the returned throttle tests as defective we will issue a full refund including shipping.
This is not negotiable.
